      Join us for a FUN-draising night at our local Maccas!!

      Come down to Wallsend McDonalds Monday 25/8/25 from 6pm - 7pm. 10% of sales during this time go to our Club!

      We will be there to answer any questions you have about Wallsend Athletics Club and the coming season.

    VOLUNTEER & AGE MANAGER TRAINING

    • VOLUNTEER & AGE MANAGER TRAINING

      Come along and learn how to support the kids participate in Little Athletics events.

      Adam Joliffe from Little Athletics NSW will be running a training session for parents.

      WHEN: Monday 8th September at Federal Park, Wallsend

      TIME: 5:30pm. The session will go for approximately 1.5 hrs.

      Whether you are brand new to athletics or have assisted age groups in the past, this course is beneficial to all parents.... the more parents involved each week the more fun the kids have!

      📌 What’s involved:

      The Little Athletics NSW Age Manager Training Course is designed for people who want to get better at helping kids participate in Little Athletics events at a grass roots level.

      It will equip you with some of the key skills and knowledge needed to successfully carry out an age manager role or parent volunteer role at your Little Athletics centre.

      By the end of the session, you will have learned about:

      ✅ Basic event set-up and safety

      ✅ Centre-level rules & officiating

      ✅ Helping kids learn basic athletics skills

      All welcome!

    • Fun night at the Club to celebrate Coles being a major sponsor of Little Athletics. 

      Will also fire up the BBQ so dinner is sorted.

    Australia Day - No club competition

    • Whilst we normally run on Public Holidays throughout the season the decision was made by the committee to not run on Australia Day to allow families to be together and remember the country we live in. 

      Fire  up the BBQ, put on some Australian music and remember our history and dream for the future.
